As of August 27th, 2021, the user filter list on any Agile board is a limited in some way. I have 12 users with tickets assigned in the current sprint (tickets show on this board), but the user filter only contains 5 users, plus the Unassigned "user". One of those 5 users is myself, of which I have no tickets assigned in this sprint.
It seems like the spillover "more" list has been lost. Has anyone else experienced this or know if this is a known bug?
I am not seeing that in my Kanban Board displays. I don't have any Scrum boards.
Are you sure that you don't have another filter applied (maybe a quick filter) that is reducing the actual tickets displayed to those assigned to only 5 users?
Oh I did forget to mention that this is a Scrum board, thank you.
I've cleared all filters and the same list of 5 users is all that I see.
In this image, I've only applied the Sprint filter, but here are 2 users with tickets assigned that don't show up as filterable users:

I set up a test project with an active sprint and issues assigned to 7 different people and some issue unassigned.
I get 6 people avatars displayed plus the avatar for selecting unassigned or the 7th person.
Are you sure that the avatars shown on the individual cards are for the Assignee? Maybe a different User Picker field has gotten added to the card display, like Reporter or Approver?

@Trudy Claspill
Thanks for testing this. It was odd behavior and I have not been able to reproduce the issue since I've closed that sprint.
I thought it might have had something to do with having multiple Active sprints at once, but I just tested that this morning and everything is working as expected.
