Is there a way to link an Asset ID with JIRA software ticket?
I know this can be done, if we create a Asset Custom field and have values in that field. But is it possible to do it without a Asset Custom field ?

I imagine if you do not use an asset custom field, then you would have to include the url to the asset in some sort of text field. Is there a reason why you are avoiding the asset objects field?
@Sam Nadarajan , Thanks for getting back. We created a attribute when we started working on the asset and didn't link it to custom field.
Now, instead of creating the new Asset custom field and copying the data to the new field, I was looking for a way to link an asset to ticket. But looks like there is no way to do it.
