Linking requirements to test scripts in Xray

Hi All,

This is a query with regards to linking requirements .

Requirements can be associated with Tests and Test Set issues with the Jira default linking mechanism. Is it typical to link to a script? Can it be done?

I think this depends on your definition of a script in this situation. For example, some use tests and script interchangeably.

@Jason Christina  : This was more to understand the xRay feature in comparison with say RQM.  Rational Quality Manger (RQM) 4.0 has the ability to associate requirements with test script steps.They have a option of allow linking between requirements and Test script steps in a check box option .

So in XRay can we have the requirements associated with test/test steps.

if I understand correctly When we compare it with rqm, it would be test script for test, test plan to test plan, test case results to test execution and test suits to test sets
