With the List view, I like to filter via the current Sprint.
Here its possible to quickly add a new ticket:
But there isn't an option that I can see to add to the current Sprint.
This means when I create the ticket it then vanishes out of view as it doesn't have a sprint assigned to it.
It would be great to have a dedicated Sprint List View, or that if filtering for the current Sprint is active, that by default new tickets are automatically assigned to the current sprint.
Hi @Simon Owen
if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields - including your issues' sprint(s) - much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. If you group your issues by their sprint, and inline-create a new issue within such a group, the sprint is automatically set, like so:
As you can create as many JXL sheets as you want, and every sheet is powered by either a JQL statement or a saved filter, you can also easily create dedicated sprint views. Sprints (and any other issue fields) can also be across JXL's advanced features, such as support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
Thanks, I saw this and tried it out, but missing the 'drag and drop' feature I love. I noticed this on your roadmap so have upvoted. I'll be sure to try out again when it's live. Thanks in advance!
