Hello Everyone,
I work in a IT Dept of a Manufactoring Company. We use Jira and Tempo to track issue and time.
In our daily work we have few activities that we need to do constantly. For example Internal Meeting or micro activities like phone call or quick discussions.
I would like to track also this time to give evidence of the total effort of these issues.
Which is the best way to do it?
Thank you for you help
Giuseppe
Hello @giuseppe bambino
You can create a specific issue type or generic issue but you need to label it specifically to match it later.
Here is an example of how I personally solved this
On monthly basis, I create one issue called administrative work 092021 and I assign it to myself, after that, I plan 10 minutes daily for each person in the company, so they see that issue on their tempo plan, and they can edit the time spent, and they add the description in the worklog.
You don't need to plan if you don't want to you just say "people the task is called administrative work 092021" log your work here, you can add it to the internal announcement banner.
This is just an example of how I track this stuff

Hi @Olga Videc ,
The idea to plan the issue everyday is great, I think I'll do it.
Moreover I think that I will create specific custom issue type (label are powerfull but also dangerous) in order to create filter for my dashboards ans so on.
Thank you
Giuseppe
