Looking for a JQL to identify changes to Epic and Story Target End Dates

Hi @Patricia Muldoon -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You cannot see changes to those fields using JQL with out of the box JIRA. There are marketplace add-on tools that could help if you purchased them.

As a free alternative, you could created an automation rule that triggers when such a change occurs, and then notifies you. For example:

Trigger: field changes for Target Start or Target End date
Condition: optionally you can add other criteria. For example, only do something when the change is greater than a certain number of days
Action: send an email notifying you of the change for the issue

You can search the marketplace for anything related to JQL, such as ScriptRunner.

I do not work for any of the marketplace vendors, and one of them may provide a more specific suggestion for their products.
