Does anyone have a dashboard, gadget, report or query that shows time spent on epics in progress? thank you
Hello @Jean Turnauckas
You can try a Time in Status for Jira Cloud which can help in your case in a few clicks.
All you need is to use its Pivot table function and set it up according to your needs. And get all data on the grid.
Also, you can read a detailed use case on how to do that.
This add-on is developed by my team and is free for using up to 10 users. So let me know if you have any questions.
Hope it helps
@Jean Turnauckas , you can take a look on Pivot Report we develop:
You can create such reports based on a filter, so it would work even with multiple projects.
Let me know if you have any questions. I can answer here, or we can schedule a demo call.

Thank you for the reply, I'm looking for something that is not an add-on or additional cost to use. I appreciate the information.

If you are fine with a marketplace app, to visualize your Epic hierarchies and track time spent and progress at each level, you can try out our add-on Agile Tools.
The app shows time spent summed up at Epic level.
Agile Tools - Epic Tree, Links Tree and Time in Status
Key features of the app are :
1) Links/Portfolio/Advanced Roadmaps Hierarchy :- View/Manage roll up for hierarchy (up to 10 levels), based on your Portfolio/Advanced Roadmaps/Issue Links parent child relationship.
2) Epic Hierarchy :- View/Manage roll up for standard Jira hierarchy. Epic -> User Story -> Subtask
3) Time in Status :- More than 7 types of Time in Status reports to track your issues.
4) Worklogs Report :- Track time spent by resources with multiple filters / category / grouping features
5) Timesheet :- View/Enter your time spent for multiple days
Thanks
Rahul

Rishav, I tried but I'm getting the error no issues found, trying to troubleshoot. I was also looking for a report that reports the time spent on the Epics by my team. Do you happen to know if there is a gadget, report, query that may pull the work log data?
Much appreciated for your help,
Jean T.

Unfortunately, that will not pull in subtasks. You'd have to create a custom filter that includes "ParentEpic in (list your current epics)" or something similar. You could also use another field like components to track and then use automation so that all tasks and subtasks inherit the components from the parent epic.
