Hi, my mail handler works perfectly when the default assignee is assigned, but I want the option to Create users from emails. This doesn't work, when I test the mail handler it says that " found x unprocessed messages .... no access ".
I have set permissions for Viewing projects and Creating issues for a group "Anyone". In issue permissions.
I am looking everywhere and trying to do many tutorials but I dont understand what exactly is wrong. What am I missing? For any help I would be enormously grateful.
However if the mail is send directly to support@jira..... it works and it creates users.
Hello @Szymon Ptak
Do you mean user management? Do you want to create users on your site?
Only site admin can manage users. This is a difference between Server and Cloud.
Please contact your site admin to grant you permission, if not then he must add users.
Site admins can perform these site operations:
Giving users admin permissions

Documentation about managing users

MAIL HANDLER CONFIGURATION :This is a success when i set default assignee.
And this is a fail when i dont insert default assignee but want to create user.
Is the problem in permissions? Sorry for Polish language but cant seem to change it. I hope you get it. Please tell me what could be the problem for that.

Okay now I understand, my first comment does not apply to this, it applied to creating customers.
The default assigned/reporter and create users exclude each other, did you know that create user actually applies to create a Jira user, my guess is that error that you get is a permission error, you don't have site admin permission to add users to groups or you don't have any more license to share.
I guess that you wanted to create new customers, not users?
This is the quote from Atlassian documentation
Create Users
Create new user accounts and send issue notifications when emails are received from an address that does not match any existing account. New users will be added to the default groups of the default Jira application and take up a license for that application.
The sender's email address will become the new account username and email address. New users will receive an email notification with more info about their new account and a password reset link.
Selecting this option will hide the Default Reporter option, as the two are not compatible.

I added an email directly to a channel without using mail handler BUT if a message (containing Issue Key) is FORWARDED to that email, JIRA won't process the email as an issue but it will completely delete it from my inbox. So I dont know i just dont know how to do it.

If I set the default reporter, can I use some automation or anything to change the default reporter to the person who emailed the request?
