Hi Pramod, since Epic Name and Summary are both required to create an issue, you will have to put in a value in both fields in order to initially save.
And no, in Cloud it is not possible to populate the value of one field with the value of another field while you are in the create process. :-(
I used an Adaptivist Listener Script to do that. If the issue is of type Epic, to assign the Summary to the Epic Name field. That has worked for us. Jira Cloud. I can share the script if you would like.
