Make visible all previous Sprints values (or at least original / first Sprint value) in Sprint field

Dear colleagues,

I'm just wondering if this is possible to make visible all previous Sprints or at least 1st Sprint value in Sprint filed in Jira Cloud.

Once I used Server Jira there was an option to see all Sprints which issue belong to, even closed Sprints, e.g.:

Sprint: Sprint 1, Sprint 2

Is this possible in Jira Cloud? Or maybe to add additinal kind of Original Sprint field?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Andrey,

Welcome to Atlassian community!

By default, the sprint field in JIRA Cloud and Server displays all the closed Sprints an issue has been added to until the end of the Sprint.

That being said, If the issue was added and posteriorly removed from the Sprint before it was closed, the Sprint will not be displayed in the Sprint field for that issue, although you can check it in the history of the issue.

As you can see in the screenshot below, the previous Sprints are displayed as a number in the Sprint field at New issue view. Once you click in that number, it displays the names of the previous Sprints:

Can you confirm if this is not the behavior you are facing now in JIRA Cloud?

Thanks, your response helped me a lot! It is working now as expected.

P.S. yes, this is related to Jira Cloud
