Making fix version required based on priority

Hello!

I have scriptrunner for Jira cloud on my instance and I am not familiar with writing scripts. However, there has come a need for my team to want fix versions required based on particular priority selections.

I'm sure this is possible, I just lack the knowledge in writing the code to do it. Everything I've found online has to do with custom fields and not two "native" Jira fields.

At what point do you want that requirement to apply?

When an issue is being created?

When an issue is under going a status change?

After an issue exists and then a person edits the Priority field?

All of the above. But I know that it's going to be more difficult to trigger it on when a person just updates the issue. We're fine with the fail-safe of doing it on creation and on transition. That way nothing gets missed.
