Math from multiple issues in an epic with the same field

Is it possible to do a sum of  values from multiple issues in the same epic with the same field. 

Example: I want to know the total estimated effort for a given epic:

I have an epic with 10 requirements. Each one of those requirements has a numeric value in the effort field. Can I get Jira Software to add all of those values together and print it somewhere in a comment, or another field in the parent epic?

Hello @Nate Dickinson 

Yes, you can use Automation for Jira to sum up the information in issues that are children of an Epic, and print that value in a comment or set a field in the Epic with that value.
