Hi, I am encountering a problem with filtering issues in a team managed project. As administrator I can filter issues by any reporter in the project, however the team members cannot filter them and cannot see any user in the drop down basic filter except themselves or unassigned. The project is shared with the client and the PM needs to filter issues by reporters in his team.
However, same users don't have the same issue on other company managed projects, so I guess it is not a global permission issue. (browse projects permission is granted to any logged in user)
Has anyone encountered the same issue? How did you work around it?
Are you referring to the Issues view or Advanced Search or something else? What is the role of these users in the project: member or viewer?
Both in issues view and Advanced search, the role was: member and a custome one who had less edit access. I did however found a solution, it seemed that due to gdpr Jira is no longer showing name in drop down for everybody and if they use JQL as before "reporter = username" it didn't show sugestions and it didn't work, but if they use " reporter = "username" " or use jira user ID or email, it works.

Yes understand the username changes. However, if you begin typing the name autocomplete offers available options.
