Hi all
One of our Jira users recently changed jobs, and so his email address changed. He still needs access to our system (which he currently has, as he can log in using his old details), but we need to update his email address so that he can receive notifications.
He has another Atlassian ID using his new email address, so there's a conflict when he tries to just update the other user.
How can we merge / link the 2 different Atlassian IDs?

There is no merge, as it's quite a horrible thing to code for. Atlassian would need to re-write all of their Cloud based systems (community, docs, developer stuff, marketplace, Cloud etc) to enable one unique ID to be automatically replaced by another when an account is merged.
I'm afraid your user needs to throw away one of their Atlassian accounts and use the other one.
