Hello,
we're going to start with Jira Datacenter after having used Jira cloud. So we have to get all jira cloud data . We've experimented the system backup procedure but it doesn't include attachments. How could we get them ?
I suspect you'll need to ask the cloud folks for assistance. On the server side you need access to the server and folder the attachments are in. I doubt you have that type of access in cloud. When I've moved a server instance I've copied the folder from the old to the new server and pointed the config file to the new location.
Hi @Margot,
You should check out the answer provided here:
I'm also on Cloud and can confirm that the Backup manager on Cloud has a version for for Cloud backup as well as "Back up for Server" with a checkbox to include attachments, avatars and logos.
That is what you will want to use if you are moving to Data Center.

Thank you Jimmy for your answer . I'm going to give the information to the person who gave me a backup where attachments were missing. Regards, Nicole

Hi, the backup has been done in the right way and the archive file contains a folder "attachment" which is not empty. It seems that the restore ignore it ...

You're going to have to copy the attachment folder separately. The import isn't meant to bring in the attachment file.
