Migrating team to company managed project

Hi,

We have been using JIRA for couple of years now and one of the project was created as a team-managed project. We would like to move to company-managed project. This project is currently active with 2000+ issues and an on-going sprint. If I move the issues from the team-managed to a newly created company-managed project, will the sprint be created automatically?

Moving issues between project shouldn't affect sprint values. Only thing that came to my mind is that you should double check that board filter cover new project.
