Move issue and logged hours

Hi,

I want to move a task that has been nested under the wrong project/cost center to another project, together with the logged hours.

Can you please let me know if when I move (migrate) an issue i.e. a task to another project, will the logged hours from that task be deleted from the original project and transferred to the cost center of the new project?

Both projects would be company managed.

You can think of "Logged hours" as a property of each task (not project).

So if you move an issue from one project to another, logged hours follows it - the same as description, summary, assignee etc...

So if you are looking on a total number of logged hours on projects level, then the amount of logged time in source project will be reduced and the amount of hours in target project will be increased
