Move issue option is missing

I was trying to move some issues between projects but the button 'move' is missing. Any chance this is because of the new JIRA look? I had that option available only yesterday.

The option should be there if you have the necessary permission. Can you check if you have the "Move issues" permission under project permissions?

I just found out i need Developer permission, not sure why as I am an Admin already. But its working so it's all good.

Admin is irrelevant to project actions.  Admin means you have admin rights, not "can arbitrarily do anything".

You needed to be added to the developer role because the permission scheme has a rule that says "Move issue: Role (developer)".
