Hello.
I have two statuses in the far right hand column of my project board.
For some reason the Move to Done button only appears on the board when obsolete is in the far right hand column. What setting controls this button?
If I click Move to Done, the ticket gets moved to Obsolete, which is not what we want. How do I set it so that if someone clicks that button, the ticket moves to Done?
Thanks!
Hi James,
For what you're describing, you're having issues with your workflow transitions.
Here is some of the Atlassian documentation about it:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/how-to-create-workflows/#Transitions--change-events
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/work-with-issue-workflows/
Depending on how your workflow is configured, you can use the workflow property opsbar-sequence to set the order or the transitions.

I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Melo
Hi @Melo - I did think that it could be a transition related issue, but I can't see any difference between the settings of the transition to Obsolete or Done.
Do you know what specifically it could be with the transitions?

I've figured this out and it was more obvious than I suspected. I thought it was to do with some settings on the transition, but in actual fact it was because when a story ticket is In Progress, the workflow doesn't currently allow it to move to Done at that point. The only option is Code Review or Obsolete, so clicking "Move to Done" moves it to Obsolete as that's the only viable option in the last column.
Now corrected.
Thanks for the input @Martin Bayer _MoroSystems_ s_r_o__ @Melo

Hi @James Wardle can you share screenshot? What type of project do you use? Is it company managed or team managed project?
