Moving active sprint tasks on borad

Hi, Does anyone know how to reconfig settings for tasks when moving them straight to done which will automatically abandon the ticket.
Having issues where nothing requires to be edited on the task and we move it from in progress to done, the ticket will be abandoned.

Hi @Steven Pigatto ,

I think your problem related to workflow of an issue.

To make issue moving from some specific statuses to Done instead of all status, you should remove transition all of Done status, then create some new transition from specific statuses to Done by Add transition.

To make some required fields to be edited when you move issue from a status to other one, you can add a screen to transition(https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/map-a-screen-to-a-workflow-transition-in-jira-720634253.html) and add transition validators to make some fields required (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/advanced-workflow-configuration-938847443.html).

So do i have to create a new transition to solve this problem?

I cant change a rule somewhere like that?

 "I cant change a rule somewhere like that?" -> Yes, your issue moving on active board is based on issue workflow. To change the behavior of your moving action, you should update your workflow by create/remove/update transactions.
