My apologies if this has been asked before. I don't seem to find what I am looking for.
I have Jira and confluence server/self-hosted trials. I have purchased the licenses.
I thought I recalled reading somewhere that when I move from trial to license that I need to install a new database (or some other changes).
I seem unable to find the documentation or an article with the requirements / steps to be followed.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

I think you mean that when you first install the applications you have a choice to set up your own database or have the installer create an evaluation database for you.
If you set up your own database beforehand then you don't need to create a new one, you just need to apply the new license key.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, that is exactly what I am referring to. Except I did not set up my own database during the install. So now, from what I understand, I need to install my own and transfer to it in some manner.
