With the Table Excerpt Include macro, I can specify "pull Table Excerpts from a named macro on all pages with a specific label". Is there a way to do this same thing with Multiexcerpts + Multiexcerpt Include? It seems that I can only specify a single Multiexcerpt from a single page at a time.
What I'm trying to do is build a table that looks like a Page Properties Report, but without having to have a little one row table of Page Properties on each of the pages, but rather just a normal looking block of text in a Multiexcerpt. I.e.
Page 1 (with 'label-A')
----------------------
My Header
Multiexcerpt
Some text here.
Page 2 (with 'label-A')
----------------------
My Header
Multiexcerpt
Other text here.
Report Page
------------
Table showing:
Page | Text
-----------
Page 1 | Some text here.
-----------
Page 2 | Other text here.
Is this possible somehow?
Thanks,
David
Hi @David Doria ,
Could you tell me please what issues have you faced when using the Tabel Excerpt and Table Excerpt Include macros?
As far as I know there's no way to generate a column in the Table Excerpt Include that has the page name that the table was pulled from like the Page Properties Report does.

Hi @David Doria
Thank you, I got it. You're right, there is no option to add a column with page titles in one click for now.
Please find multiple workarounds that may work for you here:

Yea, TBLFILTER-297 works but is really painful to have people remember to put the same name in every row. And when the page name changes, a lot of things break :(
TBLFILTER-268 is better (I've tried that) but we're afraid to put too much complexity into the pages that a lot of untrained users need to touch. People already keep adding extra things into the tables or the Table Excerpt macros as it is, so needing a separate little table that doesn't make sense to anyone except the "admins" that know about the outer join, etc. is a hard sell.
Both issues mentioned "but we have it in our roadmap" - any idea when that will be available?
Thanks,
David
