Need help on boards

Hi,  I have a JIRA project under which earlier 3 boards were created for different reasons one kanban board and other 2 scrum boards.

today i have create another scrum board to fresh start my scrum work. However, in the scrum backlog i created, i am seeing a list of issues in backlog including epics which i don't want. What is the way to remove all epics and backlog items from this newly created board. Is there a way to do that by creating a filter, if so, can you pls write a sample filter here . if it is not possible, do i need to create a new Project with a scrum board. pls let me know

Go to your board administration section and edit filter query .

your filter should be something like project = YOUR_PROJECT_KEY and issuetype not in (Epic)

Thank you. That worked. However, still it is showing previous versions of previous boards. How to exclude them in this board? Appreciate your help
