Need help with configuring Advanced Plan for company-managed projects

Hello! We use company-managed projects for Engineering work and I want to create a cross-team plan to track dependancies. But I can't find the way to configure projects in Advanced Plans that we use in Jira. Can someone jump on a call to help configure that? I would appreciate help a lot

Hello @Trudy Claspill , thanks for suggested flow. I can set a board folllowing the steps. But my questions is it possible to use auto-schedule option for company-managed proejcts in my Plan? Essentially, I want to help engineering leads to be able to plan epics right in the Plan by moving epics, adding dependancies, etc. Can they do that?

I don't offer live telephone support but I can try to help you via messaging through this forum.

If you have the ability to create a Plan...

... then the first screen you should see should give you the option to select what to include in that Plan. And that should include a pull-down field where you can specify that you want to include Projects.

After selecting Project there, you should then be able to specify the project you want in the second field.

After selecting the first project you will have to click the +Add more work option below that to add another input row to select the next project.

Autoscheduling is possible, but it may not work the way you think.

thank you! so if all our projects are company-managed type, what app or tool would you recommend for planning/auto-scheduling? I was considering Gantt chart app for that purpose.

I have not used any apps for that purpose, so I don't have any recommendations.
