Need to add validation status on custom field when we change issue status to Resolve

Created "Management Flag" with values None, ABC, PQR and XYZ. Default value while creating Bug/Story/Epic is None.

Now when we change status to Resolve Management Flag value should be selected apart from None and only Project Lead can change this value.

How can we achieve this?

Hi,
You can't set a field to be editable only by specific someone.

What you can do is (workaround):

1. Don't put the field in the "edit" screen

2. Create transition screen, put your field there, add validation that transition can't be complete without the field having a value, and condition that only the "Project Lead" will be able to perform this transition.
