I Created a new Issue Type Scheme for a project (CUS: Customer Engagement Issue Typer Scheme) as is shown in the below image. The issue I want to use (Customer Engagement) for the new scheme already has a Issue Type Scheme Assigned.
If I remove the issue type from current Issue Type Scheme (CUS: Kanban Issue Type Scheme) will affect current issues?
Also I want this only affect the "Customer Engineering" project, it is required or not associate the project to the new Issue Type Scheme?
All this is triggered due we need to have a different screen for this issue type and not the same as we currently have. I already create the new screen, the screen scheme, and the Issue Type Screen and associated all among them.
Hello @Cristóbal González
If I remove the issue type from current Issue Type Scheme (CUS: Kanban Issue Type Scheme) will affect current issues?
Yes, that will affect the Customer Engineering project. The Issue Type Scheme specifies which Issue Types will be available in the associated project(s). A project can have only one Issue Type Scheme associated to it. If you remove the issue type from the CUS: Kanban Issue Type Scheme then that will remove that issue type from the Customer Engineering project. When you remove the issue type from the scheme, while that scheme is in use by a project, the process will force you to specify a new issue type to which any existing Customer Engagement issues in that project will be converted.
Also I want this only affect the "Customer Engineering" project, it is required or not associate the project to the new Issue Type Scheme?
Since a project can have only one Issue Type Scheme at a time, whatever Issue Type Scheme you want to associate to the Customer Engineering project must include all the issue types you want available for that project.
All this is triggered due we need to have a different screen for this issue type and not the same as we currently have.
If the problem you are trying to solve is having a different screen for the Customer Engagement issue type within the Customer Engineering project, you don't need to change the Issue Type Scheme. You should only be updating the Issue Type Screen Scheme.
It is the Issue Type Screen Scheme that associates issue types to Screen Schemes for a project.
Thanks a lot @Trudy Claspill
I just tried but I do not see how to change the screen only for customer engagement issue type.
What I've done:
1.
2.
3. I press over "CUS: Kanban Default Screen Scheme"
Then, honestly, I do not know what next because if I press over "Create Issue -> CUS: Kanban Default Issue Screen" I see all the fields that are currently on use, so I do not know if I modify this fields will affect to the other issue types associated to this scheme
If I press over "Create Issue -> Edit" I see the following screen and I don't know what to do

Step 1: Create the screens you want for the Customer Engagement issue type.
Step 2: Create a Screen Scheme that includes just the new Screens you created.

Step 3: Modify the Issue Type Screen Scheme "CUS: Kanban Issue Type Screen Scheme" to associate the Screen Scheme from step 2 to the Customer Engagement issue type.
