A project member created a new issue for our team Kanban board, but the issue does not appear anywhere on the board. When I search for the issue in the Search box just above the board swim lanes, the issue does not appear then, either.
However, if I use the "global" search box at the far-right of the "Jira Software" nav-bar at the top of the browser window, the issue appears in the issues list; I can select the issue from there and the details appear as for any other visible issue.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks.
Hi @John Tucci
Check the board's filter. Most likely there is a customfield that you are setting on your new issue that is not filtering on your board.
For example: the user may have created a bug ticket, but your board only shows stories.

Hello, @Fabian Lim :
Thanks for the prompt reply.
This is "WIN_307_IssueScreen.png" (issue that DOESN'T appear on the Kanban board)...
...and "WIN_3_IssueScreen.png" (issue that DOES appear on the Kanban board)...
I'm hoping you can see a difference...
Kind Regards,
-John

I read your reply to a similar community posting, and I have a question: your reply referenced an unmapped status. I've checked my project board's columns and statuses and only those columns in our workflow diagram appear. How would I find an unmapped status? BTW...our board's columns and statuses are identical; we have named the columns to match the workflow states. Most of our status are "In Progress" type: "In Progress", "On Hold", "QA/Testing", etc. We have one "Done" status: "Development Complete", and we have "Next".
Are there other statuses available/allowable?
Thanks.

Thanks for the request...but when I select "View All Filters" from the "Filters" drop-down, I get an empty page with the notice "you don't have any filters"???
There are two search boxes on the board:
Please advise with more explicit directions, or if there are other details/info that I can provide. I continue to appreciate the Community's generous support.
