No Issue show in timeline but showing Sprints

I have created four sprints in Jira, and when I click on the Timeline view, I can see the sprints displayed. However, I am unable to see the individual issues that I have created and assigned to each sprint. Is there a way to view the issues along with the sprints on the Timeline?

Hi @alexaung 

Do you have these issues under Epics? I believe that is a prerequisite to showing issue types like Task, Story, etc.

Yes, I have created so many tasks for each sprint.

But do they have Epics as their parents?

This would be an Epic set in the "Epic Link" field on each Task.

Yes, that is what I needed. Now created Epics and link it. Now showing. Thanks.
