No backlog/active sprints sidebar or boards dropdown

Anthony Ortiz June 16, 2018

Hello,

I'm having to use Jira for a class, and am having several issues with it.  We're supposed to create user stories and add them to a sprint for an assignment.  However, A) we have no backlog in the sidebar, thus we cannot create a sprint; B) we have no Boards dropdown, which most fixes I see require.  Not to mention I don't have any Agile keyboard shortcuts when I pull up the menu.  I've attached a screenshot of what my sidebar looks like and the project permission settings.  I am a Project Lead on it, as well.

This seems like this problem:https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/agile-sidebar-missing-backlog-and-active-sprint-menu-901694701.html but I'm not sure.  I'm also wondering if there is a default URL format I could use to directly access the backlog, like mydomain/projects/PAP/backlogextension?

Could you go to the Details part? What kind of project is it?

Thanks for replying, my prof and I figured it out.  We were all set up as jira-core-user and just needed to be set as software users.
