No longer seeing ticket banner after Jira ticket creation

We used to get a small temporary ticket banner displayed after creating a Jira ticket. This banner would contain the new ticket number and if you clicked on the banner, you could go to the ticket itself.

For some reason now, we are no longer getting the Jira ticket banner displaying after creating Jira tickets. We need to know how to get this banner back.

The banner was very useful to identify the ticket number of the just created ticket and I have a lot of team members that miss this feature.

I know that you can run a query of tickets logged by you but that requires further action whereas the banner was provided automatically.

I don't see where I can turn the banner back on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello David,

I can confirm this is a known issue and wasn't a result of anything that accidentally may have been toggled by an admin on your site. Our team has just deployed a fix to all Jira Cloud sites a few minutes ago. Please let me know if the banner isn't appearing for any new issues, as we expect the issue to be resolved now.

I experienced this yesterday and noted another post of the same today. I can’t reproduce so maybe it was fixed in my instance. You might want to report to Atlassian Support or just monitor for a couple days.
