No text box in "Change Comment" when performing a Bulk Edit

Hi Atlassian,

 

I would like to ask why there's no text box in "Change Comment" when performing a Bulk Edit in JIRA Server.  Also, I have a permission for Add Comments, Edit All Comments, Edit Own Comments.

What version of Jira is this?

Have you tried to recreate this problem in another browser, or a browser using incognito/private mode?

I'd be interested to see if there are any browser extensions that might be blocking the element from rendering on the page.

It might also help to use the developer tools in the browser in order to see if there were any errors in loading this page.  You should see a rich text box for this field in the bulk editor of Jira.

Already tried Google Chrome and IE but still have no luck.

Also, the incognito/private browsing mode doesn't work out.

By the way, we are using v7.3.6

Are there any other locations in your Jira site that fail to show the comment box?

Could you share with us the contents of your browser console when viewing this page?  I am curious to see if the page is acknowledging an error when trying to load this page, such as a javascript or css error of some kind.

It might also help to see if you can generate a HAR file when loading this page.   This too can help us to understand more about this problem.

@Ysaac James SalaoHmm Looks  like it's hidden  make sure you  don't have any  java script hidding this box, if  you are sure there isn't any,  you  may want to  report  this issue to  atlassian  support.
