A lot of workflows set a "do not allow edit" permission on closed issues. Could you check if you can make any edits at all to the issue? (Editing any field, not comments or performing transitions - they're separate permissions)
Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- No , not able edit other fields also.
Affects Version/s , Labels .

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Ok, that suggests you don't have permission to edit at all.
Next thing to do is check the project permissions to make sure you have "edit issue" permission. If you do have that, then the next step is to go back to the issue, look at its status and then edit the workflow for it. Look at the step the current status is in, and open up the "properties" of the step - I think you'll find there is a property that says "only some people can edit the issue"

Thank you for the solution .
I edit the workflow . In Diagram mode , I clicked the "Closed" status and edit the properties and I deleted the "jira.Issue.editable " property key .

Are you able to edit the field on open issues prior to closing them?
