Not able to Transit from "To-do" to "Work in Progress"

Hello everybody.

I set up a new board with existing workflows, but I'm having trouble moving the issue from one stage to the next.

The older Board, which has the same setup and workflow/permissions, functions perfectly.

As a newbie to Jira in general, any input will be greatly appreciated.

Check the conditions on the workflow, if it's the same workflow in another project, then there's probably a condition that says something like "only people in role X can use this transition", and you're in that role in the old project, but not the new!
