Not able to add tab in the Issue Card layout

I am trying to add a tab (as the one on the screenshot) to the Issue Card screen layout

In order to configure the screen, I need to access the Issue Configuration inside project settings.

It turns out, the Issue settings is not available when the Project, type Software, uses Kanban or Scrum Templates

This is only available using Bug Tracking Template

There is not information whatsoever, about not being able to configure Card's screen depending on the project template

Anyway to overcome this?

I want to add tabs to some projects I already got using Scrum or Kanban templates

Hi @José Carlos De Oliveira Escalona 

This isn't an issue between Bug, Scrum, or Kanban templates (which just provide different configurations) - you have two different Project types here, Team-managed (top screenshot), and Company-managed (bottom screenshot).

Team-managed Projects cannot have tabs at this time as far as I know - you could create a feature request for it though here if you would like to: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

Company-managed Projects can though - you can add a tab via the Screen settings. You'll need to be a Jira Admin to modify these settings - then:

1. Go to Settings (cog icon in top-right corner) > Issues
2. Select Screens from the left-hand menu
3. Locate the Screen relevant to your Project
4. Add a Tab using the hyperlink on this page

It will be a lot more helpful is this information is straight in the help section when describing how to add tabs! ...just saying

Can you swap the project type without creating a new project a moving all things around?

Unfortunately you can't at this point when moving between Company-managed and Team-managed - you have to create a new Project, then move the Issues across.
