Hi ,
I am not able to change the status of some issues from new to any other status in a project.
I can change status of some issues with same issue type and having same workflow but not able to change few issues. project is associated with single workflow.
Below attached issues are from same project, issue type and having same workflow.
Can you please advise me if I am missing something ?
There are two things this is almost always down to:
You'll need to be an admin to diagnose what this is:
In the first case, please go look at the workflow, editing it, so you can check what conditions might be applied to the transitions out of the status those issues are in. Also check the status - does it have any "workflow properties" applied?
In the second case, you can go to Admin section and find the integrity checker. Select the workflow-related options and let it run. It will offer to fix any broken issues it finds.
After getting them fixed, you should look for a cause of the corruption - was there a crash? Are there scripts or apps that might be making changes to the issues that got corrupted?
Hi Sushimita,
from my experience this is usually due to workflow corruption. I would recommend re-making the workflow and applying it to the project then applying the original workflow back.
basicslly what happens is if a workflow is changed while people are working on an issue sometimes certain issues don’t reindex properly.
best,
clark

Hi @Sushmitha ,
As per the screen shot, you can see the transitions of this ticket. generally transitions are used to move any ticket from one status to other.
Are you trying to change status, with transition or any other option.

Hi @Sreenivasaraju P ,
Thanks for addressing the issue.
Yes, transition is visible in 2nd attachment but not visible in 1st issue. Both issues are having same issue type and workflow.

Can you please check the conditions for these transitions in your workflow and transition issue permissions.
