Not able to view manage add ons in administrative console

Not able to view manage add on section in admin settings.. can you guide me exactly..how to install jira editor software using admin.  i have checked and granted admin, site access to me. But still not able to view manage add on section in admin settings. can you please help ? am using jira trial software..

Ramakrishnan,

You must Administer Jira Global Permissions.

From your main JIRA Screen clic JIRA Settings -> Apps:

Then Find new apps.

Also when logged in as a JIRA administrator you can hit the g key twice 'gg' and it will pop up with a shortcut list, where you can type in add-on:

If you can't get to either of these screens, you need to re-check your permissions.

Thanks Josh for the quick reply.. can find new apps through jira settings.. however shortcut didn't work for me..not sure why...

However i can't find jeditor software in app search..please help. Thanks

Are you talking about this add-on: JEditor - Rich Text Editor for Jira.

If so, it is only available for JIRA Server, not JIRA Cloud.  

If you have server, just go to the link from above and download.
