Not receiving any email notifications

I am having trouble with email notifications and have noticed that even though my personal settings have the email notifications enabled I still don't get any emails.

Please can someone help with checking why this is happening.

Hi Sharjeel - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You should also open a support ticket with Atlassian to see if your email has been blacklisted for some reason.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!!

Can you please provide some information?

  1. Did all the users are receiving the notification??
  2. Did you check your spam folder ??
  3. have you created any rules in your mailbox ??
  4. Did you check with your IT team if the email is blocked from their end.

Hi Mayur,

 

Please see the answer to your questions below:

 

  1. Other users in my organisation are receiving notifications and this is an issue only I have.
  2. I have checked both the spam and junk folders that appear in my outlook, there are no emails linked to Jira.
  3. I have not created any rules in my mailbox and only use the inbox folder which I have not added any additional rules to.
  4. As I know other members of my organisation are receiving the email notification I believe this suggests that the email is not blocked from my IT side, but I can double-check this to make sure.

Please let me know if there is anything else you would like me to check or test.

@Sharjeel Poonawala I would also suggest the same @John Funk suggested to raise a ticket. Your email might be blocked by Atlassian.

Hi Mayur,

 

At the moment I will be holding off on raising a ticket as I cannot do this myself and will have to ask a Jira Admin to do this on my behalf. I have raised a ticket with my IT to ask if there is anything blocking the emails, if they respond to say they couldn't find anything then I will be raising a support ticket with my Jira admin's help.
