Now using the "updated" (I'm not going to say "improved") Jira UX. When I close a task, notifications to my developers no longer say "Robert Meador has closed xxxx" in the subject line. When I close many tasks, my developers must now read all the emails rather than being able to select and delete them from list view.
My question is - any way to change this?
Hi Robert,
Just to make sure that we are on the same page, I would like to confirm if you are receiving the new Batching notifications.
If you are still receiving the old format of email but the transition is not shown on the subject, please send us a screenshot of the email, so we can further investigate what is happening.
For more information about batching notification, please check the documentation below:

Angélica
I don't know about any Batching, but here is an example of the new email (forwarded from a colleague). Note the subject - no indication that the task was closed. Previously the subject line indicated the status change.
This is not a problem for the occasional email, but when we close large numbers of tasks, now my developer must click into and read each email of many, rather than being able to delete them.

Thank you for the screenshot and details. This is the batching email notification that is being rolled out for some instances and soon all instances will have this type of notification.

The batching notifications are based on this feature request that has more than 1000 votes:
They are still making improvements, so please feel free to add comments to the feature request.
