I'm using a KanBan board which includes a column called "Ready for Work".
Issues are promoted from the Backlog status to "Ready for Work" once it's been scoped, estimated and generally confirmed it's in a state suitable for a member of the team to pick up and start working.
The problem is that sometimes there are 20 or more issue being shown in this one column.
They are sorted by rank ASC, so ideally I just want to show the top X by rank and hide the others from the board.
I had a look at the documentation and couldn't find a "LIMIT" or "TOP" option, but maybe there is a way of doing this that I'm missing.
Current KanBan filter:
project = SUPPORT AND (resolved = EMPTY OR resolved >= -2d) ORDER BY Rank ASC
Thanks for any help!
You can’t actually set a limit play column. However if you’re using a software CMP project you can set a column constraint that will set the column to red if you go above your constraint. Go to Board settings > column
Thanks for the reply Jack. I tried the WIP limit already. It doesn't limit the number of issues shown, just changes the column to red when a threshold is exceeded. Ideally I wanted to edit the board filter so only a maximum of X issues are shown in the column. Sounds like this isnt possible ☹️

That is correct. There may be some addon options in the Marketplace.

Hello, @David Dean , In board settings -> Columns there is a min and max box in every column where you can set the WIP limits.
