Only 15% of issues were successfully migrated to cloud

Sagi February 18, 2021

Hi, I'm trying to migrate from Jira Server to Cloud, but encountered a strange problem.

When I did a test run to a test site I've created, migration worked perfect. However, when migrated to our production site, I get a message that import was successful, but only small part of our issues were transferred (700 out of 5700).

Tried again and again on newly created sites (each with a slightly different template), with the same result.

Taking the same ZIP file that failed and import it to the original test site, works perfect.

Hi @Sagi ,

How about transferring project by project via migration assistant?

Also, please, double check disk usage on your Jira server, frequent mistake is disk usage

Hi @Gonchik Tsymzhitov , thx for answering so fast.

Migration assistant doesn't work for me, too many issues with it. Importing a ZIP file (System Restore) is straight forward.

There's no issue with disk space, and also, as I wrote here, I get different results with the same ZIP file on different sites.

Again, the exported ZIP file is ok. At first I also thought it is corrupted, but I managed to successfully load it to my test site.
