Hello,
We have given our epics their own priority, when you open a project, all epics are always displayed at the top of the issue list. Until about 2-3 weeks ago it always worked that we set "Order Issue By" → Priority in a project. This field remained saved, whenever we opened a project, "Order issues by - Priority" put the epics at the top of the list. Since the new filter bar has been introduced, the "Order issue by" "Filter" is no longer saved, i.e. every time a project is opened, the Epics are no longer displayed at the top and you have to manually select "order Issue by" Priority. Now every time when we open a Project the Filter "Order Issues By" switches back to the value "created"
As a test I switched off the New Issue View and in the old Issue View "Order Issue By Priority" is saved (screenshot) but in the new Issue View where it worked 100% it doesn't work anymore.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it possible to save a predefined value for "Order issues By"?
Hi Christian,
It sounds like you should go ahead and open a bug with Atlassian Support.
Hello @John Funk
Thanks for your answer.
I have already opened a support ticket, and I was told that it is not a bug or the "Order Issue By" was never saved, which can't be true.
My question is if someone has the same problem or if someone noticed it?

I can confirm that it defaults to Order by Created. And when I change it to Order by Priority and then leave can come back, it changes back to Order by Created. But I do not know if it has always been that way or just recently started - sorry.
