Ordering of resolution state when dragging on Kanban board

When we drag an issue into the Done column, the column appears to split into two, so that one can select the actual state for the issue. How can we change the ordering of these so that "Review Completed" appears higher than "Cancelled"?

Hi TJ, welcome to the Community.

well you would think this could be done by going to board settings > columns and simply dragging the statues into the order that you desired. In fact when you do you are left with a false sense of success as it let’s to reorder the statuses. However, you return to the board only to find things have remain unchanged.

there is an open issue on this - JSWCLOUD-16086 

fee free to vote/watch but it has been open for some time now so not sure I would expect the change at this point. But one never knows.

Thank you for the reply. I looked at the ticket you linked, and it seems that https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-12944 is the actual one, since I am dealing with Jira Server rather than Cloud.

What's more, my users tell me that this used to be in the correct order, but now it is not. I don't know what has changed.

Yep. Sorry I didn't note the platform type. Not sure on why it was working before and now stopped given the open issue. You might ping Atlassian Support.
