I have created several task with an 'Original Estimate' and the developer has logged his time. I can see both information in the issue 'backlog' view (right hand side pane next to the backlog). But I can't see the fields in the issue's views on an independent browser tab or pop-up edit window.
Can someone please explain me the reason of this happening and how to fix it, I've tried changing the screen schemes but is not working.
Also related to this, if I have an 'All Isssue' filter and include the 'Original Estimate' column it appears to be empty for the tasks where I defined an Original Estimate.
Thanks
Hello Andrea,
Welcome to Atlassian community!
Just to confirm we are on the same page, could you please provide us the screenshots of both screens where you can see and not see the Original Estimate field? Please, remember to hide the confidential information from the screenshots.
Also, can you let us know if you are using a Classic or a Next-gen project?
For now, I recommend you to double-check if the time tracking field is properly added to your project screens at the project settings > Screens and check if the fields are not hidden on the Project settings > Fields
Let us know if this information helps.
Hi Pettterson,
I'm using a classic scrum project
Here are some screen shot:
1 Backlog view where I CAN see the Original Estimate
2. Browse view where I DON'T see it
3. Edit Issue window where I DON'T see it
4. All Issue filter doesn't show the Original Estimate value either
