Our Project on Jira is missing

Dear Atlassian Team

My friend and I are missing our project in the Jira Board view. We had everything written down with the stories, epics and subtask but it seems like the whole board got deleted. I asked my friend if maybe she did something but she didn't do anything.

Hope you guys can help us.

welcome to the Atlassian community!

First of all please ask to a JIRA Admin if some changes have been performed at permission level for your project. He need to verify if you have access to the project.

Thank you for your fast response.

I contacted the Admin (who is also a student) where we used Jira for an old project and he told me that the subscription expired. So without contacting us he didn't  prolonged it.

So my question is, is there a way to get to our old Jira Board because we need it for the Bachelor Thesis?

you need to update your subscription in order to have back your board.

I got all the admin rights and tried to update the subscription but it says that it is unavailable.

You will need to get in touch with Atlassian about this.  Because you've not renewed the subscription within a couple of weeks of letting it end, they may have deleted the system entirely (although it should still be in a backup somewhere)

Get in touch with Atlassian as soon as possible - raise something at https://support.atlassian.com/contact - select the "billing" option as that's where you'll need to start.
