Our team members are all getting notifications for tasks that have nothing to do with them

This started yesterday afternoon.

My teammates and I started getting notifications about all the tasks in the project. 
These tasks are not related to us in any way, we aren't watching, not being mentioned, nor are we assigned to those tasks.

This is extremely annoying, as the notifications bombard us with lots of extra junk.

Has anyone noticed this issue?

Have you recently added a  new automation rule or made changes to workflow or notification settings?

As I'm not the Jira administrator on our team, I don't know the answer to that.

But I'll try to find out if anything has changed.

You really need to ask these questions to your Jira Administrator since any changes to these may cause the issue being faced by you.

My only issue is that the admin and I are in completely different time zones, so I'm trying to see if I can find a solution before that.🙂
