Project Automation send Email to specific role based users

Hi all, 

I want to send an email notification to all the project users when a sprint starts or even in general , but the "TO" field is not customizable enough  for selecting role based / particular people.

Is there any way to make it more dynamic ? It would be good to have a more dynamic approach for selecting and removing people rather than hard coded email address.

The closest thing you could do is create a Group in Jira with all the members of the project. Then maintain that group for project members.

Then you can email to the Group.

Is codebarrel.atlassian.net still a valid Jira site?  If so, how do I get access to view tickets like the above?  If not, have such tickets when migrated to Atlassian's Jira and what would be the link to the above ticket following the move?
