Project Management Template Error

I am trying to create a project management board using the Project Management template, however, I am running into the error message "This project isn't available".  I am a site admin for my JIRA instance and can create other project boards but this one is not coming up.  When I refresh to see all my projects, it does appear but I am unable to access the board.

Hi Chada,

It sounds like you're missing the "Browse Project" project level permission, check out the projects permission scheme and make sure you are part of a group or role added to this permission.

Details on configuring the project permissions can be seen here:

If your permission scheme is set up with a Project Role for the permissions you may also want to set up a default membership for the role on newly created projects as covered in the following document, that way when you create a new project, you or a group you are a member of will be automatically added to the role memberships for immediate access to the project without additional configurations (EXE: if you have browse project set to a developers role on the permission scheme adding in jira-administrators group to default membership will ensure all admins have brows permissions on new projects):

Regards,
Earl

Thank you Earl, that did the trick!

It was odd I could create other boards but not that one, which is why I did not check my permissions.
