I have a project on our JIRA could instance, where for a mysterious reason I am not able to edit issue / worklfow settings on the project level.
when I go to the project settings menu, there are only two things displayed: Details, People.
I have full project admin privileges, just like for all other projects we have in JIRA, and in case of other projects I can still see all settings / options.
another insight: the project under which I dont see the admin settings is sharing a board that fetches issues from another project as well (and for that project I can edit the workflow settings)
see screenshots attached (DC project: no project settings available, CR project: settings are available)
any support / idea why this is happening and how could I see the workflow settings under my DC project would be much appreciated.
I see that the "broken" project is a Software project, and the other Business. That suggests that while you may have project admin there, you might not have access to "Software", which limits your usage of Software projects.
Check the application access, make sure you are a software user.
Actually, both projects are software projects, the word business you see there is coming from the project's name

Whoops, sorry!
Have a look at the people for both projects - are you in the same roles and with the same permissions?

I am admin on both projects (and generally in the emtire application)
i compared everything but couldn’t figure out why the project settings are so much restricted for this specific project.

I'm not convinced you are admin on the Digital project - it should be showing versions and components no matter what for project admins.
