Project type to be Private, but want to assign issue to specific people who are non-members

Kwai Ling Ma March 18, 2019

How do I hide my project (prevent others see the issues), however let them only see the issues they are being assigned.

There are few fields that we don't want non-members to view, however we just want non-members to view the issues they are assigned to.

Thank you

Kind regards

KL

Hi @Kwai Ling Ma ,

Issue Security Schemes allow you to control who can and cannot view issues. They consist of a number of security levels which can have users/groups assigned to them.

If you are using the next-gen projects, I think this is currently impossible to achieve.
If you are using other types of projects, you can try the following options:

Thank you Ollie for your prompt reply. I will try and see.

HI Ollie,

How do I know if my project is next-Gen or not?

Also, I need to have administration access to view Issue Security Schemes is it?

Yes, please consult the administrator of Jira to confirm the above 2 items.
