Hi,
I created a new board to handle the issues inside an specific epic, I was expecting to see the same workflow that I setup for the project but instead it is using the default one (TODO, In progress, Done).
I have a specific workflow setup for my project, I thought it will work for any board inside the same project but it is not.
Thanks for the help in advance.
@Carlos Hidalgo, a board doesn't inherit the statuses of the workflow by creating columns for each status. You need to go into Board settings > columns and drag the statuses into the desired columns. You may wish to add new columns of course to contain these statuses.
@Jack Brickey thanks for your quick answer. So what you are saying is once I create a new board (in this case from a custom filter) I will need to create all the columns and assign the statuses of the workflow that is assign to my project again, even when there is already a main board that has all this setup?

Hi @Carlos Hidalgo,
@Jack Brickey is right.
If you don't want to start to configure your board from scratch, just clone it and enter your required changes (e.g. filter).
Best wishes

@Carlos Hidalgo, correct you will want to configure your board to meet you needs. here is an example. You can elect to stack up your statuses w/in a column or break them out. TBH, I rarely have my complex workflows where single status has a dedicated column as the board would become unwieldy. I generally focus on the status category (to do, in progress, done) but not always.
